2026 First Quarter Favorites:

·

by T.S. Williams for insidemyweedbag.blog

Here we are with my favorites for the first quarter of 2026. I’ve decided to say to hell with the categories and just list them as they come to mind. These past 2 to 3 months have certainly flown past us, and I have lots of favorites as I have been focusing more on self-care. This journey has been enlightening, as I’ve discovered new products that truly make a difference in my routine. I’ve been revamping my current skincare routine as well as my makeup routine, especially as the weather begins to change more and more. The shift from winter to spring brings new challenges for my skin, which is why I’ve made a conscious effort to incorporate hydrating serums and lighter foundations that allow my skin to breathe. But since I’ve been outside more I have been wearing more makeup (nightlife you know).

  • Photobooth work selfies (examples provided below)
  • Ruby Kisses Maximizer Plumping Lip Gloss in ‘Bubblegum
  • Pink Sugar Perfume Oil
  • LA Colors Instinctive Lip Gloss In ‘In The Mood
  • Hard Candy Lip Gloss In ‘Cheers To Cherry
  • Rohto Max Strength Eye Drops
  • Nicka K Mood Play Lip & Cheek Glossy Gel
  • Danessa Myricks Blurring Balm Powder Flushed In ‘Spiced Latte
  • Carsian Soft Focus Powder in Translucent
  • Revolution Rose Baking Powder
  • Vintage Speedy 35, I bought myself for the 30th birthday,
    • Like I have a date tonight and my friends birthday dinner monday, TRUST I will be pulling her back out with a cute casual fit. Cant get enough of this bag, such a staple for me.
  • Metallic and glitter pedicures
    • Since the weatherman in Virginia still hates me, it’s still much colder than I would prefer, but I can still get my little spring fix with a bright pedicure.
  • Black BCBG Nylon Top (as pictured above in the photobooth collage)
  • Hard Candy Eyeshadow Palette in Birthday Suit
    • Longtime favorite of mine tbh, perfect nude neutral toned eyeshadow palette for my skintone. It features a great mix of warm and cool shades, allowing me to create various looks with ease. I love a structured or undone smokey eye with it, giving depth and drama to my overall appearance. Alternatively, I enjoy a subtle nude wash for daytime, paired with a classic liner for a clean and polished look that’s ideal for everyday wear.
  • Ceramides and Niacinamide
    • As my skin ages, I have been trying to work on my skin barrier and texture, which has become increasingly important to me. Niacinamide has been doing my skin rightttt; it helps to even out skin tone and improve elasticity, making my complexion look healthier and more youthful overall.
  • Polka dot skirt from Shein
    • I know I know I know, I go extra hard about fast fashion hauls BUT my problem is the hauls and trend-based nature of Shein hauls on the internet. I feel it waters down people’s personal style when that is your only source of curation for your fashion. The skirt was a gift and I actually really like it. I shop fast fashion from time to time but mixed in with traditional pieces, like this skirt, which adds depth and personality to my wardrobe. I have been wearing it down to the ground, with camis & cardigans, with turtlenecks, over-the-shoulder shirts, literally everything. It’s so versatile that it seamlessly transitions from casual day looks to more polished evening outfits. Love it.
  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons 3.0 Update
    • Self-explanatory, my favorite cozy game right now.
  • Rocketdog Wedged Platform Flip Flops
  • Boar Bristle Oval Shaped Hairbrush
  • Pink Crocodile Filofax Dupe from Amazon
    • I have been using this binder as my beauty journal and really enjoying this particular format. It allows for me to move the pages around as needed as well as customize my journal entries, which is essential for maintaining organization and personal expression. I have recently decided I will be transforming it into an aesthetic journal, including my fashion choices and inspirations going forward, as I believe this will provide a deeper insight into my personal style and creativity.
  • Purple Jelly Firkin bag aka my weedbag
    • Courtesy of my beautiful sister, I found it on Poshmark, and the seller was having an amazing BOGO sale, so I now have not only a lovely purple one but also a bright yellow one. I absolutely love this bag thus far; the hard plastic Polly Pocket look is so nostalgic and fun, and it is remarkably easy to clean, which is a huge plus for me. It holds all my stuff perfectly, from my daily essentials to the occasional items I like to carry, in addition to being super cute and stylish.
  • Sula by Toni Morrison
  • All About Face by Kevyn Aucoin

And this is my first quarter favorites of 2026..
