Beauty/Vanity/Fashion:

This portion of my favorites was actually super easy to do as I carry around what I call a beauty journal where I keep a running log of what is going on with me beauty and aesthetic-wise and take lots of notes on various products, techniques, and inspirations that catch my eye. I’ve been finding this really helpful with building my signature look and sense of style, allowing me to track my progress and understand what truly resonates with me over time. How I like to adorn myself cosmetically and getting to the heart of that has also really developed my style and sense of self, encouraging me to explore different facets of my personality and express them creatively through my beauty choices. Additionally, this journal serves as a safe space for experimentation, where I can freely jot down my thoughts on color palettes, makeup trends, and even outfit ideas, turning it into a valuable resource that fuels my passion for aesthetics and self-expression.

  • Neutrogena Overnight Peeling Solution
  • Freeman Glow Serum + Makeup Primer
    • OMGGGGG! This stuff is everything, only been using it about a month and when I tell you I’m running low already. Every time I have done my makeup this has been in rotation. It has kept makeup put from 7pm to 7am in the morning.
  • Revlon Lipstick in Rosewine
    • A vintage shade from Revlon I’ve been a fan of since high school, not a full on red by any means but more of a warm pinky nude shade.
  • ReviveRX Naturally Moisturizing Factors Face + Body Spray
  • Revolution Rose Baking Powder
    • This particular one was the first pink under-eye powder I tried and was pleasantly surprised by the brightening effects, especially when normally they try to shove orange based or yellow based powders down my through but I have a neutral undertone so this pink has really been hitting the mark.
  • ELF Cosmetics Satin Lipstick in O Face
  • Ruby Kisses pink glosses (all the shades they make tbh)
  • Ordinary Niacinamide Serum
  • Dermisil Oat Milky Toner
  • Ioni Blush Stick in Raspberry
    • Recently I have been looking for more pink blushes and decided to try this one, now this one is in my daily makeup bag as I use it that often.
  • Ioni Loose Baking Powder in Cool Pink
    • This is the second drug store pink baking powder, let me just say I have been obsessed with pink setting powder in the last quarter of the year.
  • MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in Lady Danger
    • These two Mac lipsticks have been 2/3 of the reds I been wearing this winter. Either of these with a black brown lip liner are gorgeous.
  • NYX XXL Lipstick in Carmelo
  • NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Istanbul
  • Fossil Black & Brown Reissued Weekender Bag
  • Victoria Secret Makeup Bag gifted by a childhood friend years ago
  • Optic Glow Eyedrops
  • Niarobi Foaming Setting Lotion
  • Liquid Mousse Spritz in Firm Hold
  • French Tip Gel X Duck Nail Tips
  • Builder Gel In A Bottle
    • I have been loving doing builder gel sets on my nails with tips as of recently, very simple and easy application while building strength in the nail.
  • Black Brahmin Bag I got from Goodwill that has been acting as my weedbag.
    • Recently I have been using a purse as my weedbag to be more discreet in public and for easier transport. I’ve been loving this particular find for this purpose.
  • Black Carpet Bag
    • I’ve been obsessed with carpet bags and I was able to find one second hand back in October since then it has been the only weekender/overnight bag I have been carrying. Perfect size, very spacious and allows everything to fit comfortably in one place.
  • Teal Foldable Glasses
    • Chile if you know me personally you’d say I’ve been wearing these glasses out, anytime I have a boring outfit on and want a pop of color as of recent, boom TEAL FOLDABLE GLASSES.

Media:

I have been purposely reaching for more physical media as of late in attempts to not rely on my phone for everything and reduce my screentime. This has involved exploring a variety of formats including books, magazines, and vinyl records, all of which offer a tangible experience that my digital devices lack. I find that holding a physical book in my hands while savoring its pages enhances my focus and allows for a deeper connection to the material. Similarly, listening to music on vinyl creates a unique ambiance that digitally streamed music simply cannot replicate. Through this conscious effort, I hope to foster a more mindful lifestyle, encouraging relaxation and creativity away from the constant distractions of screens.
